Remember What It Was Like To Be New?
The Parents Association LINC committee needs volunteers to act as host families for incoming new families. Host families welcome their new family to SFDS (and to San Francisco if they have relocated), help them become connected and involved in the SFDS community, and act as a resource for all those questions that arise. Volunteer at the SF Food Bank!
Last Saturday Day School volunteers sorted and labeled 800 lbs of cereal as well as 18,500 lbs on oranges at the San Francisco Food Bank. The final Food Bank volunteer opportunity will be Saturday, May 17th from 9:00am-12:00pm. To sign up, volunteers can e-mail rick_riley@sbcglobal.net.
