Established in 1992 with gifts honoring retiring board chair Toby Rosenblatt.
The funds are used for the preservation of archival information and the
creation of a history of the School. Supplemented by Toby and Sally Rosenblatt
and The James Irvine Foundation.
The Faculty Enrichment Fund
Established in 1997 with an anonymous gift of $750,000 payable over five
years. The Fund provides professional development and enrichment opportunities
with the intention of attracting and retaining the strongest possible
faculty for the School.
John Trapasso Outdoor Education Fund
Established in 2002 in honor of seventh grade history and English teacher
John Trapasso, member of the faculty from 1988-2002. Income from this
fund will help make it possible for every Day School student to continue
to experience the Outdoor Education program that John helped to found.
SFDS Sports Fund
Gifts to this fund support the after-school sports
program and teams.
Music Fund
Gifts to this fund support the School’s music program.
