Welcome to San Francisco Day School!
Enrolling your children in a new school always involves new procedures and
routines, and new families always have plenty of questions. Please use the links
on this page as a starting point to find answers. You should also feel free
to call your child's classroom teacher (grades K-5) or advisor (grades 6-8),
the Lower or Upper School Heads, or the LINC parents with whom you've been paired
for the year.
My child is just starting Kindergarten. What do I need to know?
See the SFDS Kindergarten Handbook.
Where can I find out more about after-school childcare?
See the AEP (After-school Enrichment Program)
page on this site.
How can I find out when events that involve my child or family are
happening at school?
Check the school calendar. You can view all school
events, or use the filters provided to see only those for a particular grade
or type of event.
Where can I find general information about school policies and procedures?
This information is in the Green Book mailed to all families in August, and
is also available in the School Policies
section of this site.
Where can I find faculty and staff contact information?
See the school directory.
What is my child learning in school this year?
See the Academics section of this site.
What are my child's homework assignments?
For Upper School students, assignments for the current week are posted on the
Homework Site.
Follow the simple instructions to create an account for yourself so you can
view your child's assignments.
