For parents who need reliable after-school care, AEP is a community where children
may play in a group or alone, work on homework, or attend enrichment classes.
AEP is available for students each school day from dismissal until 6:00 p.m.
and during vacations and on faculty work days from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Fees
are $8 per hour for prepaid blocks of 10 hours or more. The fee for occasional
use is $12.00 per hour. Tuition assistance is available.
The AEP staff has designed a program that includes free time to relax after
the school day, plenty of healthy snacks and a quiet, supervised space where
children can do homework. Children may participate in games, art, reading, computers,
science, crafts and cooking as well as free play and organized games in the
lower school yard and on the rooftop playground.
Please download both the enrollment agreement and contract and return to Sheri Leavitt.
The AEP program also includes:
Enrichment Classes: Children may enroll in individual enrichment classes
such as chess, yoga, theatre, Tree Frog Treks, and robotics. Students may combine daily attendance
at AEP with participation in enrichment classes. The fee for enrichment classes
is $15 per class.
Class Descriptions
To register for Block II Enrichment classes, view and print this form, and return the filled out form and your payment to school.
Library Study Hall (grades 4-8): Students may attend a supervised library
study hall every day after school until 5:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Fridays.
There is no charge for attendance at study hall since this is not part of the
AEP program. When the library closes, students not getting picked up must go
to the AEP room.
