The SFDS School Spirit Store is starting out 2008 with a new look. The logo was designed by SFDS parent Andy Dreyfus, father of 3rd grader Nell Dreyfus. Andy is an exec at PIXAR and spent many hours evaluating our store’s brand and creating a vision for our products. He wanted to see a consistent look, from a marketing standpoint, and came up with something young and urban that will not go out of date. This logo can be used for many years into the future on many great SFDS products.
Alongside the re-branding, Diane Harwood, Scott Case, and Pam Baer evaluated our past merchandise and found a need for some practical products. In choosing new items, they took polls from SFDS students to identify current trends and researched eco-friendly businesses in the marketplace. The result of these efforts is a new and improved SFDS School Spirit Store product line.
The plans for improvement don’t end there. In the future, School Spirit Store products will be displayed in the lobby, students will be invited to help run the store, and the chairs will be working on setting up an online store.
