The Meanest Doll In The World

It was nighttime, and the Palmers had just gone to sleep.  Anabell’s aunt had just asked her if she and Tiffany would like to take a trip to the attic.  On their way back, they found it was way to late for them to be out of the dollhouse.  They almost got caught but jumped in to Kate’s backpack just in time.  When Kate took the backpack to school, the children were still inside.  When Kate went off to her class Tiffany and Anabell came out to explore.  When they were out the scarf that they slid off was moved.   When they got back to the house they weren’t in the Palmer’s house anymore.
I like that in this book, the author talks in the dolls thoughts.  Like in the beginning of the book, when Anabell was sitting in the soap dish the author really expresses her thoughts by saying how jealous she was.  I think this book has a lot of tell not show.  I think this book needs more expressive words.
“Anabell expected the door to open, and vclose as Mimi rushed inside.  But the door remained closed.”  I think this was a very mysterious saying from the book.  I also like it because it makes you think where could she have gone.
I think The Meanest Doll In The World is a great book.  I recommend it to anyone between 4th and 6th grade.  I think girls would like it more, but I still think it is a great book for anyone who likes action and danger!
