| Esperanza Rising by: Pam Muñoz Ryan Reviewed by: Ana |
Esperanza Rising is a book about a girl name Esperanza. She is rich and is thinking she will have a good life as rich person in México. But when her father gets assassinated her life starts to change. What will happen? Fire and disease, sad and happy, friends and family. One good thing about this book is the description. It makes you feel like you are right there next to the characters. The books weakness is that Esperanza is scared too much. It is nice to have more feelings. One thing that is written on the pages is one quote “Wait a little wile and the fruit will fall into your hand.” I like this quote because it says you have to be patient with life. The author wrote in Spanish too. I recommend it for its beautiful words. I think this Book is good for ages 4th grade to 8th grade. It is a novel, whoever reads it will like it. |
