| My book is Witches by Roald
Dahl. This is a fascinating book about a young boy who
lives with his grandmama. This amazing book takes place in Europe, in I
guess about 1994. This boy he turns into a mouse. And you will
have to read the book to figure out what happens. I think that this book is good at some things like very descriptive writing. And good at using show not tell sentences. I think that the book is too slow. The first part is sort of boring, but if you wait for about 1or 2 chapters it will get better. Here is a quote: “Suddenly all the other witches, more than eighty of them, were beginning to scream and jump up out of their seats as if spikes were being stuck into their bottoms.” I think that this is good writing because it gives you a good picture in your mind. I recommend this book for kids between 7 and 13 years old because it is funny and a joy to read. I think that it would be good for boys and girls. |
