The aqueous humor is located in the front section of the eye. It is
watery and translucent. There is an anterior chamber which is in front
of the iris and a posterior chamber behind the iris. The fluid that makes
up the aqueous humor is made in the ciliary body. The excess liquid is
drained through the canal of Schlemm. The canal is located at the two points
where the iris meets the sclera. When the liquid isnt drained, glaucoma
may ensue. Glaucoma impairs ones vision and may lead to blindness. The
aqueous humor allows the front of the eye to keep its shape and a firm quality.
