The Retina (2)

Back

The retina has a slimey texture and is fairly insignificant. When we cut out the vitreous humor and the retina kind of slid off into a lump on the tray. It has almost no substance so when it is no longer secured against the back of the eye, it comes right off. Without the retina it is impossible for your eye to see. Unfortunately we couln't see the fovea in our disection.
