St. Dorothy's Rest is an institution of the Episcopal
Diocese of California and is open to children of all faiths and backgrounds.
Founded in 1901, it is the oldest continuously operating summer camp in
California. It is located on a wooded hillside near both the Russian River
and the Pacific Ocean in lovely Sonoma County.
The camp program is supervised by both the Director and Program Director.
Counselors are mature college and high school students, chosen for their
talents and ability to work well with children. A chaplain provides guidance
and health care professionals provide medical support.
