Hugo K. will be playing in Carnegie Hall on May 23rd as a winner of the American Fine Arts Festival. Amazing work Hugo!
Benny S. just received his scores on the Level 3 Piano Certificate of Merit Exam given by the California Music Teachers' Association. He passed, with an 'Excellent' on all sections. Congratulations Benny!
The Kindergarten and Fourth graders had an outstanding time performing at their soiree on April 3. Good job musicians!
Eighth graders are beginning work on their musical “Into the Woods.” Come and see them perform on the evenings of June 5 and 6!
Our goal in the music department is to foster life-long musicianship. We are eager to hear about our students’ musical activities outside SFDS. Please drop us a line to let us know about your musical experiences!
