In a way, the Annual Fund is the heart of San Francisco Day School. It has been driven by the spirit of all those who have been touched by SFDS. The collective support of alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty, staff and our special grandparents has generated essential funds for some of the School’s most critical needs. Virtually no aspect of San Francisco Day School has been left untouched by Annual Fund support.
This year, a generous group of Day School supporters has set up a challenge to motivate donors to increase their gifts to the Annual Fund. Any amount we raise over last year’s total of $860,000 will be matched dollar for dollar up to $1,000,000. This challenge provides us with the unique opportunity to further enrich the Day School experience.
Thus far we have raised $790,562.00. When we surpass our goal of $860,000, the match will kick in, dollar for dollar. We are almost there, but it will take your gift to tip over into the challenge! Since tax season is almost here, consider a portion of your returns to the Annual Fund. Better yet, if you are receiving a rebate, sign it over and send it in. The Challenge will enable us to raise over $1 million for the Annual Fund!
