All donated items are welcome, but following categories are encouraged:

CultureFest is also looking for more live-auction items. These items are typically bigger, splashier, more glamorous — and predictably generate more funds for the School.
The live auction will take place at the event, which this year is being held at the Fort Mason Festival Pavilion.

Silent Auction Moves Online
If you haven’t donated any auction items to CultureFest, there’s still time. But you’d better hurry. Organizers for the May 3rd event are still looking for last-minute silent-auction items for what will be the school’s first full online auction.
“We’re doing a whole push to go online so people have more of a community feeling at the end — so they don’t feel pressure to do bidding at the event,” says Dasha Ostrova, special events coordinator.
The move online will help transform the event into more of a party, where people can mill out and socialize, rather than scurry around looking at bid sheets. However, for the online auction to work, parents have to use it!
The online bidding will launch April 14 and is expected to end May 7, four days after the event. That should give parents enough time to survey all the items and submit their bids. So mark your calendars and head to sfds.cmarket.com on April 14th.
CultureFest is the Day School’s premier fund-raising event. The event consists of a live auction, a silent auction, dinner and entertainment such as dancing and a live band. The money raised goes entirely to tuition assistance. Last year, the event drew an estimated 500 attendees and raised $212,000.
